Laurel Hightower praises MELON HEAD MAYHEM

Laurel Hightower praises Melon Head Mayhem

Laurel Hightower, author of Crossroads and Below, recently read an early copy of Alex Ebenstein‘s Melon Head Mayhem, the first entry in our new Killer VHS Series. She offered the following thoughts after reading:

“MELON HEAD MAYHEM immediately captures the anticipation and delicious joy of picking up a VHS from the video store for a night of snacks and gore. Fast paced and gruesome, Alex Ebenstein strikes a perfect balance of fun and fright, with a surprising amount of light handed character development. A read as fast and delightful as a bowl of movie-theater popcorn and a two liter of Crystal Pepsi, this first installment in Shortwave’s KILLER VHS series sets a fantastic tone. Looking forward to more, both from Ebenstein and Shortwave.”

We’d like to thank Laurel for her time and comments!

Melon Head Mayhem is now available in paperback and ebook!
