Teagan Olivia Sturmer

Teagan Olivia Sturmer is a children’s and adult author living on the stormy shores of Lake Superior, passionate about writing stories of girls who are stronger than they know. Teagan graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in Creative Writing and used that to pursue her love of Shakespeare, acting and directing in her local theatre, and studying the art of dramaturgy.

Having been diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder and PTSD for most of her life, Teagan is passionate about telling stories of resilience. Stories of characters who discover the power of their own emotions, and use that power to overcome. Teagan lives in Michigan’s wild Upper Peninsula with her husband, Brice, their sweet dogs, Remus and Rosie Cotton, and one rather persnickety calico cat, Phoebe. Teagan has been published in anthologies put out by Phantom House Press and Quill and Crow Publishing, and one forthcoming from Eerie River Publishing. Teagan is represented by Amy Giuffrida of the Belcastro Agency.
