From the co-writer of the Welcome to Night Vale podcast, Brie Williams, comes the weird and wonderful debut novel Alligator Baby.
Peninsula Park is your average isolated seaside town. Dark, dank, claustrophobic, and full of its share of local folklore. A quiet place, stuck in time—until a very real monster sends the town spiraling into chaos and drags the secrets of the past into the present.
Similar to Stephen King's Cycle of the Werewolf, Alligator Baby reveals its bizarre puzzle through the intertwined encounters of a dozen different locals who come face-to-face with the horror they have unknowingly been living with all along.
Brie Williams is a writer of audio drama (Welcome to Night Vale, Unlicensed), games, fiction, and film. She wrote and co-directed the indie horror feature film A Closer Walk With Thee, which won a Grand Jury Prize at Nashville Film Festival and Best LGBTQ film at Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. Her psychological horror story Wild Dogs appeared in the anthology Back Into the Ground by Caretaker Press.
