Today we are excited to announce a new deal for The Gargoyle and the Mason by Jamie Flanagan.
Jamie Flanagan is the screenwriter of Netflix’s Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher, and others. This is their first, and Shortwave’s first, children’s picture book.
In The Gargoyle and the Mason, a lonely gargoyle learns the transformative power of of friendship and acceptance.
The book will be fully illustrated by artist Marina Claire.
This is the first in our two-book deal with Jamie Flanagan, the second book being WHEN, a collection of curiosities including short stories, screenplays, essays, and poems.
