Shortwave Publishing Launches New Imprint, Rapture Trade, Led by Editor Mitch Hull, with New Books from Gemma Amor, Tyler Jones, and Kealan Patrick Burke!
Shortwave Publishing is partnering with Rapture Publishing to create Rapture Trade, a new imprint headed by Mitch Hull. Rapture Trade will publish half a dozen carefully selected new horror, sci-fi, and fantasy books per year, beginning in the summer of 2027.
The imprint will focus on adult trade editions, launching with new novels from Gemma Amor and Kealan Patrick Burke, alongside a collection from Tyler Jones.
Shortwave Publishing editor Alan Lastufka said, “By combining the strengths of two respected indie publishing houses, we’ll be able to better highlight some of the best new dark genre fiction being written today.”
All titles will be backed by robust marketing campaigns including nationwide and local PR campaigns, advanced reader copies on NetGalley and Edelweiss, bookstore events, multiple newsletter campaigns, and more.
Titles published under this new imprint will be sold and distributed worldwide through Simon & Schuster.
We’ll share more news about our launch titles in the future. Stay tuned!
